PS55 Gives Thanks!

Candidates' Speeches for School Officers

The coding club used sentence strips and circle cutouts to make regular and irregular polygons. They coded their robots to move around the perimeter of their creations. They learned how the measurement of angles changed as they increased or decreased the number of sides causing them to adjust the angle of the turns their robots made. They approached their code in different ways. Some chose to have their robot do something different at each vertex, while others wrote code with repeats. We had a great time integrating coding with measurement concepts and skills.
